Abrasives for private labels – Certified, long-lasting and safe
RHODIUS tools meet the safety requirements for bonded abrasive products according to DIN EN 12413, for superabrasive products (diamond products) according to DIN EN 13236 and for coated abrasives according to DIN EN 13743.
All processes, structures and flows of information and knowledge at RHODIUS are audited and certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. The energy management system implemented according to DIN EN ISO 50001 means that we can use energy more efficiently, and it reduces CO2 emissions.
Grinding tools for private labels – Tested and inspected
To meet the necessary safety requirements, RHODIUS grinding tools have to pass an additional bursting test, a side load test and a drop hammer test after the prior in-process controls during production.
Every year, the RHODIUS test centre carries out more than 8,000 additional safety tests of this kind.
The bursting test, for example, uses a speed at a factor of 1.8. The discs have to withstand the excess speed without damage.
Abrasives for private labels – The sign of a safe product
RHODIUS is an oSa®-audited manufacturer with ISO-certified quality management and documented processes.
The tools produced and delivered by RHODIUS are therefore allowed to carry the oSa® label. It documents compliance with the EN standards and the additional strict requirements of the Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives e.V.
oSa® carries out regular production controls and product monitoring on site. Only high-performance premium products with traceability back to the manufacturer receive the oSa® label.
