Resin-bonded grinding discs age and lose performance over time, even when not in use. With HydroProtect, RHODIUS has developed a formula that slows down the moisture-induced aging process and sustainably maintains the performance of the grinding discs. An aging test simulated a process lasting approximately 7 to 10 months—the typical storage period before first use. While conventional grinding wheels lose a significant portion of their performance in the first few weeks after production, Hydro Protect technology prevents moisture-induced aging, allowing the XT10 to retain nearly all of its performance even after months of storage.
