PERFORMANCE PROTECTOR FOR EXTRA-THIN CUTTING DISCS
Our HydroProtect technology
Resin-bonded abrasive discs age and their performance de-grades with time, even if they are not being used. Since moisture accelerates ageing, RHODIUS has developed HydroProtect, a formula that slows the ageing process while retaining abrasive disc performance over the long term. This offers key benefits for buying departments and dealer stock-keeping while ensuring long-term high performance for trade professionals.

Benefits
- Lasts longer in storage
- Better long-term performance
- More cuts per disc
- Excellent value for money

An independent performance test reveals the difference: an ageing process of roughly 7 to 10 months was simulated in the test – the typical time frame for disc storage before first use. While conventional grinding discs suffer their greatest performance losses in the first weeks after production (cf. diagram*), the HydroProtect technology suppresses ageing due to moisture, to ensure that the XT10 retains almost its full performance capabilities even after spending months in storage.
Highlights: RHODIUS HydroProtect

RHODIUS XTK6 EXACT
Even less burr formation and even less thermal stress – leading to reduced discoloration. The XTK6 EXACT – the thinnest disc impresses with its ultra-low-noise operation. Thanks to the exceptionally precise, clean and almost burr-free cut, virtually no follow-up work is required. Although just 0.6 mm thick, this slim disc easily cuts very hard materials such as spring steel, stainless steel sheet, etc. Plenty of power in a small form factor: the narrow cut means virtually no contact pressure is required – making work easier and less tiring.

RHODIUS XT24
The extra-thin cut-off wheel is particularly suitable for processing aluminum or copper sheets. With the XT24, the risk of explosion due to dust formation can also be halved, depending on the application.

RHODIUS XT100 EXTENDED
Cutting disc with ceramic abrasive grain. For aggressive cutting performance and a long lifetime with high-volume grinding.
